Script description
Plugin Activation - Required Steps:
01. Create a developer account at: https://socialblade.com/developers
02. Purchase 100 credits (Manage Credits tab) [>1)]
03. Go to the Settings tab; there you’ll find your Client ID and Token
04. Copy the Client ID and Token and paste them into the plugin settings
05. Now enter your login credentials for the portals you want to display.
[>1] Credit Billing:
The billing principle is very simple:
1 credit every 30 days
1 credit = 1 portal (login)
Within 30 days, you can query the API an unlimited number of times with 1 credit.
IMPORTANT!!!
The current plugins available on the HUB do not work properly—that is, they do not retrieve data—because the (free) “endpoint” server used in the code of those plugins does not return any information to them, which is why you always got a “?” result. My plugin is based on the Social Blade platform’s endpoint. The only downside is that you need to create a developer account and purchase credits (but you get what you pay for). The end result is that the plugin works and displays the data. :).
EMERGENCY OPTIONAL FEATURE:
If the plugin ever loses its saved data (this sometimes happens when the watch suddenly restarts, e.g., due to memory or RAM overload), you can use a simple workaround by setting a default value in the plugin’s code. How do you do this? Here’s an example:
Find the following line in the header:
"Social Blade Client ID" default="" maxlen=128
"Social Blade API Token" default="" maxlen=256 help="ClientID/API key on the website https://socialblade.com/developers/console/settings"
and replace the value default="" as shown below:
"Social Blade Client ID" default="ENTER_YOUR_ClientID" maxlen=128
"Social Blade API Token" default="ENTER_YOUR_Token" maxlen=256 help="Client ID/API key on the website https://socialblade.com/developers/console/settings"
Filling in this value will cause the data to be automatically read even IF THE FIELDS (IN THE SETTINGS) ARE EMPTY. If you see an error message regarding memory or insufficient bytes when trying to save these changes, it means you need to remove any installed scripts that you don’t use or that are too resource-intensive and are clogging up your device’s memory.
