FireworksAWTRIX NG script

Install this script on your AWTRIX NG. Its icons and sounds are installed with it.

Your AWTRIX’s local address, for example 192.168.178.39 or awtrix.local.

The name shown in your AWTRIX script list. Use letters, digits, hyphens or underscores.

Connection & device login

Connect your phone or computer to the same network as your AWTRIX. Allow local network access if your browser asks.

Use the device’s IP address, without a page path such as /#/apps.

If your AWTRIX requires a login, the username and password fields will appear when you connect.

Sign in to the Hub to install scripts. Attached files are installed separately.

Script description

To celebrate the release of AWTRIX NG for the TC002 or silvester. :)

Features

  • Fireworks across the whole display: rockets with glowing trails rise, slow down and burst at their peak. Some fly almost to the top.
  • Seven shell types: peony, two-tone shell and core, double ring, split halves, a gold willow that slowly sinks, strobe with crackle, and glitter trails.
  • Real sparkle: every spark starts white-hot, twinkles as it fades and falls with gravity, under a starry sky with a coloured flash at each burst.
  • Schedule: always in the rotation, or only once, every year or every day at a set time, for example New Year's Eve at midnight. When it starts, it can take over the display.
  • Colours: colourful, gold, up to four colours of your own, or any AWTRIX palette, including your own from the Palettes tab.
  • Synthesizer sound: a soft thump at launch, a deep boom at each burst, crackle and the hiss of the willow. Each sound has its own switch and plays in sync with the explosions.
  • Optional text on top, e.g. {year} for the current year.
  • Adjustable: intensity, particle count and sound volume.
