Script description

Three lava scenes that burn into each other: a rising lava lamp, a cracking magma crust, and a night volcano.

Panels: 52x16

What it is

Eight seconds of each scene, then a glowing lava front sweeps across the panel
and eats the old scene, leaving the next one behind it.

  • Lava lamp. Nine metaballs of molten lava rise, merge and pull apart over
dark basalt, white-yellow at the core and deep red at the edges.
  • Magma crust. Slowly drifting basalt plates with lava glowing along the
cracks between them. A new crack flares white-hot, cools through orange to
dull red and goes black, and a cold plate splits open again every so often.
  • Night volcano. A crater pool, embers thrown out in arcs, a red glow in the
sky, and a river of lava down the slope that cools from white-hot to crust
    as it runs.

Everything is generated, so it never repeats exactly.

Settings

  • Scene. auto plays all three in turn. Pick lamp, crust or volcano
to keep one of them on screen.
