Duolingo StreakAWTRIX NG script

Install this script on your AWTRIX NG. Its icons and sounds are installed with it.

Your AWTRIX’s local address, for example 192.168.178.39 or awtrix.local.

The name shown in your AWTRIX script list. Use letters, digits, hyphens or underscores.

Connection & device login

Connect your phone or computer to the same network as your AWTRIX. Allow local network access if your browser asks.

Use the device’s IP address, without a page path such as /#/apps.

If your AWTRIX requires a login, the username and password fields will appear when you connect.

Sign in to the Hub to install scripts. Attached files are installed separately.

Script description

Shows your current Duolingo day streak.

SETUP

  1. Install the app. The "owl" icon is downloaded with it from the AWTRIX Hub.
  2. Open the Apps tab and click the gear on the "Duolingo Streak" row.
  3. Enter your Duolingo username — the handle from duolingo.com/profile/, not your display name.
  4. Save. Your streak appears within a few seconds.

SETTINGS

  • Duolingo username – required.
  • Icon – name of any 12x12 icon on your clock; leave empty to hide it and centre the display.
  • Refresh interval – how often the streak is updated (default 10 min).
  • Accent colour – colour of the number, flame and completed days (default #FF9600).
  • Colour of open days – colour of upcoming days in the week bar (default #2A0040).

NOTES

  • No API key or login needed. The app reads Duolingo's public profile data, so your profile must be visible.
  • The last known streak is kept across reboots and shown immediately.
  • This is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Duolingo.
