Flow description
A self-playing Pong match for your clock. Two computer players with random colours, paddle speeds and accuracy play first to 3, the ball speeds up with every return, and the winner's half flashes with WIN and the final score. A new pair of players is drawn for every match, so place your bets: the paddles blink during the intro while you pick your favourite.
Nothing to control, it plays by itself. It holds the app rotation for one rally at a time: the score is shown, then the clock moves on to the next app; when the rotation comes back, the match resumes with a serve.
Built for the Ulanzi TC002 (52x16 panel, blocks of 2x2 pixels). It also runs on a 32x8 matrix (1x1 pixel blocks): the geometry is computed from width() / height(). Based on KODIMAX's Auto Pong, adapted for the TC002.
Requirements
- Ulanzi TC002 running an AWTRIX build with the Berry scripting engine (the AWTRIX NG port for the TC002, e.g. sanderdw/awtrix-ng-tc002). The script uses the Berry
rotation.pause(),rotation.resume()androtation.next()calls, which stock AWTRIX 3 does not have. - No icons, no external service, no settings.
Setup
- Open the AWTRIX web interface, go to Scripts and create a new script named
AutoPong(or uploadauto-pong.be). - Paste the code and save. The app appears in the app loop as "Auto Pong".
Controls
None. Turning the knob still switches to the previous / next app as usual.
